Main active natural ingredient:

- Maras Salt (Peruvian Pink Salt): this pure Andean salt also known as Maras salt, contains 84 minerals assimilable by the cells. It is special and considered as a high vibrational salt because it is mysteriously formed since 250 million years ago from a hidden ocean inside the mountains at the Sacred Valley of Cuzco-Peru. When the water comes out from the mountains in a warm stream and falls onto flat ponds it is photonically enriched by the intense Andean sun at 3300 meters above sea level, making it pure and fully energy charged.

Ingredients: Peruvian Pink Salts (sodium chloride), Andean Lemon Verbena leafes (Lippia Tripylla)

*The salts are hand-harvested by local Andean communities, coming straight from the salt flats, all natural, not processed. This way we support fair trade and ancient traditions.

Aypa is a handmade luxury skincare brand that discovers the power of ancient secret plants organically grown in Incan lands to feed the skin from the outside in.  Made with unique sustainably superfood ingredients ecologically harvested in Peru and made in Spain.

In the heart of the Peruvian Andes, surrounded by vibrant mountains and mystical lands, lies the most valuable wellness secret of the ancient Incan culture: the healing power of native plants that organically grow in the Earth.

Aypa, meaning Earth in indigenous Quechua language, stands for the respect and the values the Andean Incan culture hold towards Nature. For the Andean people, the Earth is considered their Mother, sacred and their source of life.

In harmony with the Earth, the Incas created an organic and ecological farming system by respecting seasonality.  Thanks to this respect for nature, the land in Peru has one of the richest biodiversity on the planet. Extremely diverse climatic zones in the region have harboured the organic growth of emblematic plants and exotic botanical species that possess extraordinary healthy properties, going from the Pacific coast through the high Andes Mountains and reaching the lush Amazon rainforest.

At Aypa, they celebrate the richness of this land by developing natural skincare formulated with native precious organic ingredients whilst maintaining the utmost respect for the environment.

Mirella Crovetto, Founder of Aypa, worked for international cosmetic companies but became inspired to develop a skincare brand with products that carry the Andean essence.  The journey started in 2009.  Passionate for a healthy lifestyle, Mirella travelled to the core of the Andes in her native Peru to join indigenous communities and learn from their heritage and daily routine about their ecological philosophy of life and relationship with Nature, their insight about sacred plants and their therapeutic healing techniques.

100% NATURAL & ORGANIC

Aypa commit through fair trade agreements with Peruvian organic farmers and develop the products in cooperation with a laboratory specializing in natural cosmetics in Europe.

At Aypa the ingredients not only have to be natural but also safe, they are pure and free of toxins. With such a variety of private certifiers with their own natural and organic criteria, they have decided to follow the guidelines of the ISO 16128, which internationally provides a standard to define natural and organic cosmetic ingredients and products.

Aypa products go beyond beauty: they feed the skin from the outside in.  All ingredients nurture the skin and offer properties that work from deep. These “superfood” ingredients as they are actually named are the soul of Aypa products.

Aypa give multiple benefits with a minimal number of products. Therefore minimalism and efficacy define their products, all handmade in small batches with only natural and safe ingredients. Their developed range of products are simple to use and highly effective on all skin types. Aypa’s formulas stand out for having the best combination of active plants in very high concentrations, offering immediate as well as long term results.

FUSING TRADITION WITH INNOVATION

Aypa honour and respect thousands of years of a culture lived with the utmost respect towards their environment. Through the Aypa concept they contribute to revalue, transmit and preserve the traditional Andean wellness knowledge, rescuing the identity of their culture.
