Timeless pieces are created for men and women who value handmade craft and uniqueness over mass-produced products, and for people inspired by the story behind the product.
L’Envers is a voice against quickly made, quickly consumed and soon forgotten fast fashion. They deliberately focus on luxury essentials that are simple, useful, designed to last, respectful of both the people who make their products and to the environment.
Founder, Julie Charvet Robinne lives between France and Spain. She has a natural flair for surrounding herself with beautiful and colorful things. L’Envers for her goes beyond her own professional and personal goals but to draft a story with a human touch, combining the desire of doing the right thing and doing things right.
The desire to carry on a long-standing textile family legacy prompted the creation of L’Envers. Combined with the desire to produce clothes more sustainably by addressing the impact and injustice of today's fast fashion. Continuously supporting local clothing manufactures and helping rebuild the textile industry. It is a story of a childhood. It is the desire to revive a sleeping family heritage. Attention to detail, precision and authenticity.
Meaning of L'Envers: The reverse; the opposite or contrary; moving in a manner contrary to the usual.
L’Envers means the reverse in French. The brand was created and named with this concept in mind. Wear your clothes in a reverse manner to unveil their origins: turn your clothes inside out to know where they have been made and which raw material used to make it. Go behind the scenes and get to know the people behind your clothes. Go in an opposite direction by proposing an alternative to our accelerated way of life.
